These soft enamel badges are both the most popular and the most cost-effective of the available types of enamel badge.

The high quality combined with reduced cost makes them ideal for promotional, corporate, club and educational requirements.

Unlike hard enamel badges, the areas of coloured soft enamel are recessed slightly beneath the level of the areas of raised metal. This gives a tactile feel, but the uncoated soft enamel can be susceptible to scratches. To give a smooth finish as well as extra durability, our prices include a free epoxy resin coating. The coating is optional, so if you prefer the badges uncoated just let us know.

The badges are made using a base metal of iron, which is plated with either gold or silver for a highly polished final effect. Iron is lighter and has a slightly lower material cost than brass or copper, allowing for the best prices to be offered.

The enamel colours can be Pantone colour matched, so corporate logos or vibrant designs can be achieved without making compromises on colour.

As standard, the badges are supplied in individual poly wrap bags, which give the optimum protection to each badge as well as making them visible and packaged ready for distribution. We can also offer tissue paper wrapping or presentation options such as backing cards or presentation cases.

You can submit your artwork by email either when you place your order or ahead of placing an order. We accept artwork in virtually any image format, including photographs, drawings and descriptions. We create free JPG design proofs and can work through unlimited changes until the design is exactly what you need.

The usual production time is 3–4 weeks from your final approval of a design proof. We complete all design proofing free of charge and can happily work through multiple versions until it’s just right. Proofs typically take 1–2 working days to prepare and are sent as JPG or PDF.
