These fabric badges feature your own custom design beautifully stitched using embroidery threads chosen from a wide selection of colours.
The background fabric is a strong polyester/cotton twill, on to which embroidery threads are tightly stitched, achieving a pleasing effect for logos, text, and creative designs. Compared to woven badges, embroidery provides a tactile and more traditional effect, with raised stitching that provides a textured surface to the final badges.

1.Select the size required.
To calculate the size, draw an imaginary box around the shape that you would like the badge. Then take the average of the height and the width.
2. Decide whether to add an iron on backing.
Choose No Special Backing if you would like to sew the badges, or Iron-on Backing for heat activated adhesive (can be ironed or fixed with a heat press).
3. Choose the border type from either an overlocked border or a heat cut edge.
An overlocked or merrow border gives the badge a brilliant finished appearance, with a wraparound border. Alternatively, for intricate shapes or a precision outline choose a heat cut border instead.
4. Email your design with the order number in the subject line.

We can accept artwork in almost any format. In fact we often make embroidered patches from very rough early sketches, descriptions
or instructions. For every order a jpg design proof is supplied, and unlimited artwork changes can be made prior to production,
so that you can be sure of a pleasing final product. If you require any advice about artwork we offer free advice and

The usual production time is 3-4 weeks from your final approval of a design proof. We complete all design proofing
free of charge, and can happily work through multiple versions of an artwork proof until it is exactly as you need.
It usually takes us 1-2 working days to produce a formal artwork proof from your submitted design. We supply this
to you by email in jpg or pdf format prior to arranging production.
